Northern Lights Park was rocking after an exciting Borealis win.

In a low-scoring contest between the Aurora Borealis and the Neo-Tokyo Akira, 27-year old left-handed pitcher Thibault Dejean proved to be the difference. The Aurora left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Borealis win. Martín Gutiérrez, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1 innings.

The decisive blow was delivered by Juichi Ueda in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Alfredo Tapia to win the game for Aurora. The home crowd went nuts.

"Pedal to the metal" is how Aurora manager Michel Provost described his team's approach.

The wins continue to add up for Aurora. The latest makes it 8 in a row.
