António Flores pitched a dandy of a game to help the Ecatepec Morelos beat the Zapopan Torrenas, 5-1. The win has Ecatepec at 14-23.

Ecatepec used a well-timed hit by Ramón Fuentes to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Morelos ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Zapopan manager Todd Burns.
