Behind the hitting of Nelson Herrera, the El Ray Vampiros clipped the Queretaro Desperados, 6-5. Herrera went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Vampiros. The Vampiros bumped their record to 20-17 with this latest triumph.

First Baseman Juan Reyes made an impact for El Ray, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Juan Flores in the top of the fourth. For the contest, Reyes was 1-2 with a double and 2 walks.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Herrera told the El Ray Daily News.
