Sols Win Thriller, 4-3

Sols Ballpark played host to some high drama.
The Guadalupe Frijoles de Dios got a superb performance from pitcher Pablo Sánchez, but the Hermosillo Sols still won the game, 4-3. Sánchez threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Félix Ramírez, who is a two-time All-Star, was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-2. The losing pitcher was Juan Hernández.
The Sols were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 26-year old right fielder Adrián Morales landed a big blow. He turned a 1-1 fastball from Juan Hernández into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Sols Ballpark denizens into a frenzy and sent the Sols home with a thrilling 4-3 win.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Guadalupe manager Danny Hendricks.
Hermosillo has rattled off 4 straight wins.
