Zak Osmond was a major contributor to the 10-6 London win over San Juan. The Underground left fielder was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. José Hernández, the winning pitcher, improved to 11-4. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 6 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 2. The second-place Coqui dropped to 74-62.

London used a well-timed hit by Eduardo Franco to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Underground ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Winning is seldom easy in this league," said Franco.
