In a low-scoring tilt between the San Juan Coqui and the London Underground, 30-year old left-handed pitcher Akira Nakagawa was the difference-maker. The San Juan left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Soseki Yokoyama finished to wrap up his 31st save. The win gives San Juan a season record of 74-61.

San Juan got a lift in the bottom of the sixth from first baseman John Pulsifer, who hit a fastball to center for a 2-run double. His 17th double of the season put the Coqui up, 3-1.

"Feels good to get the job done," Nakagawa said after the game.
