The Hartford Harpoon trumped the West Virginia Alleghenies, 7-4, at Watt Powell Field. Hartford right fielder John Miller was terrific. He went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Théo Ribeiro got credit for the save for Hartford. It was his 3rd of the year. Hartford has a record of 65-70, placing them second in the Imperial League Seaboard.

Wira Djojohadiksumo had a big 2-run home run for the Harpoon in the top of the fourth inning. With Hartford leading 4-2 and a runner on 2nd, he got a curveball from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Roberto Ruíz and swatted a home run to center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Harpoon ahead, 6-2.

"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Djojohadiksumo.
