Baysiders Deal Goths 3-2 Loss
In a low-scoring contest between the Sarnia Canada Baysiders and the Windsor Canada Goths, top prospect Tom Eckerman proved to be the difference. The Sarnia Canada left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Baysiders win. Sarnia Canada has a record of 7-9, placing them third in the Atlantic League Ontario Division.

Sarnia Canada used a well-timed hit by Min-jae Hwang to capture the win. The second baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Baysiders ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Sarnia Canada manager Frank Lowe said.
