Roberto Ramírez was locked in. The left-hander led the Scottish Claymores to a 5-2 win against the Hartford Harpoon at The Castle. Ramírez got the win, improving to 4-3. He gave up 4 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Isei Yano closed the game out for Scottish, earning his 15th save.
Scottish took a 5-2 lead on Zhong-shan Geng's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Geng hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Hartford pitcher George Moss visibly frustrated.
"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Geng.
The Claymores lead the Imperial League Trans Atlantic by 3 games.
