Lanfear goes 3-for-3 in Light Blues Win
The Cambridge Light Blues beat the Aix-Marseille Universite Geckos in a game featuring much hitting but not much pitching. The final score was 13-9, Light Blues. One of the hitting stars was right fielder Sean Lanfear. Lanfear, who is tied for 3rd in the AL in doubles with 5, was 3-3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Bryan Dilley, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-1. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Justin Astall recorded the save, his 4th.
