Goths 2-1 Winners Over Instituto Politecnico Nacional
Ricardo Prieto pitched well, but his team, the Instituto Politecnico Nacional Mules, still dropped a 2-1 decision to the Windsor Canada Goths at Goths Ballpark. Clay Scott picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Ricardo Prieto suffered the loss. Keith Adkins earned the save for Windsor Canada, his 5th.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, shortstop Larry Barteaux delivered a key hit for the Goths. With Windsor Canada trailing 1-0, he ripped a solo home run.

"Good win for us," said Barteaux. "Now we'll focus on the next one."

The second-place Goths have a record of 9-5.
