Terrors Snatch Late Win
|
The Hamilton Canada Terrors knocked off the Delft Engineers, 1-0, in Atlantic League action at Terrors Ballpark. Hamilton Canada pitcher and Hamilton, Canada, native Terrence Halter had an outstanding performance. George Boyer picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jordan Bruce suffered the loss. The Terrors improved their record to 5-6 with the win over Delft.
Christian Sanders found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Delft hurler Jordan Bruce, the 21-year-old second baseman hit a sacrifice fly. His 5th RBI of the season put the Terrors on top, 1-0.
"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Sanders.
