Mules 4-0 Losers to ETH Zurich

The ETH Zurich Physicists picked up a win at The Stables, knocking off the Instituto Politecnico Nacional Mules, 4-0. On the mound for ETH Zurich was right-hander Basilio Falconieri. He played a key role in the triumph. Earning his 2nd save for ETH Zurich was Israhel Wendlinger. With the victory, the Physicists upped their record to 8-4.
ETH Zurich used a timely hit from Christof Ziblat to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Physicists ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.
Falconieri said his team "played with focus and determination."
