The Boise Remuda easily defeated the Sacramento Deltas, 13-4, at Boise Ballpark, with center fielder Toshinobu Yamaguchi a main contributor to the win. He went 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for Boise. At 33-31, Boise is in 4th place in the Humboldt.

With Boise leading 2-1 in the bottom of the second, Yamaguchi hit a fastball from Yub Issa for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Remuda ahead, 6-1.

"I had some good swings out there," said Yamaguchi.
