Wallabies Lose at Home, 2-1
|
The Taiwan Tech University Typhoon downed the University of Sydney Wallabies, 2-1, at Sydney Cricket Grounds. Stellar pitching by Hsui-chen Dee had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 4th in the PL in wins with 4, handcuffed his opponent all game. The Typhoon, at 30-11, sit in first place in the Pacific League Supreme Division.
Shan-tang Li cracked a home run off Declan Wilson in the top of the fourth. His solo blast put the Typhoon on top, 2-1. In all, Li had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Our pitching was the difference tonight," Li said.
