In a high-scoring contest between Palm Springs and Reno, left fielder Robby Rollins was a difference-maker. Rollins distinguished himself in the 10-8 Palm Springs win. He was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. Bob Miles, who is the 2nd-best prospect in the Codgers organization, earned the save for Palm Springs.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Carlos Ocasio came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Reno pitcher Anthony Soame, he hit a 2-1 fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Palm Springs on top, 10-8.

"This game had a little bit of everything," said Ocasio.

With the victory, the Codgers upped their record to 34-23.
