The Keio University Unicorns topped the Rikkyo University Bishops, 9-4, in Pacific League action at Field of the Angels. The standout performance belonged to Keio University pitcher and Hatsukaichi, Japan, native Seishiro Saito. At 9-22, the Unicorns are currently 5th in the Pacific League Tokyo Big6 Division.

Keio University used the timely hitting of Roku Hayashi to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Unicorns on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Hayashi told the Keio University Citizen: "I'm the straw that stirs the drink."
