The Toyama Wind Dancers downed the Neo-Tokyo Akira, 7-4, at Castle of Cagliostro. Francisco Cabrera led the way, going 3-for-4 for Toyama. Toyama pitcher Daniel Hernández got the win. He's now 14-3. Jorge Salinas was tagged with the loss. Picking up the save was fan favorite Hideo Miura.

Making an impact for the home team was Ryozo Kouyama. In the bottom of the sixth, the slugging second baseman had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 6-4, Wind Dancers.

"We'll savor this win," Cabrera told the Toyama Today, "then get ready for the next game."

Toyama goes to 83-49, Neo-Tokyo to 54-79.
