Conditions were not ideal but Outback State University and Keio University were able to put their game in the books.
Outback State University right-hander Samuel Worboys pitched his team to victory over the Keio University Unicorns at Ballpark of Katsuura College. The final score was 3-1. In 6 innings, Worboys surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Harry Youngberry closed it out for his 8th save.
Outback State University used a clutch at-bat from Jo-hsi Kau to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Crocs ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Kau.
By defeating Keio University, the third-place Crocs improved to 15-13.
