Early in the game, Yamada had a 2-run triple for Hosei University. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the Avocat on top, 2-0.

Yamada told the Hosei University News: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
