Clancy Liu pitched well, but the University of Queensland Koalas still lost the game, falling, 4-2, to the Outback State University Crocs at Karasuyama College Grounds. The win elevated the Crocs to 12-6.

The Crocs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Tristan Conroy. For the game, Conroy was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Outback State University a 3-0 lead.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Outback State University manager Tomohiko Tanaka.
