Takahashi Excels in 6-3 Shin Seiki Win
Yoshiyuki Takahashi made an impact in the 6-3 Shin Seiki win over Neo-Tokyo. Takahashi went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Pedro Delgado collected his 3rd save. At 79-51, the Evas are currently second in the Sovereign League Rising Sun.

In the top of the ninth, Juan Mendoza, who finished 5th in the IL in runs with 97 in 2034, delivered for Shin Seiki. That's when he belted a 2-run home run, putting the Evas up, 5-3. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a climactic one.
