Reno Zephyrs starter Carmelo Lamberti pitched a strong game against the Aurora Borealis at Washoe Field, leading the Zephyrs to victory, 7-4. Anthony Soame earned the save, his 30th in 34 tries.

The Zephyrs got a gift in the bottom of the fifth inning, when they were leading 3-2. With one out and the bases loaded, Qi-chao Ta reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 1 run. It made the score 4-2, Reno.

"Good to pick up this win," Ta said.
