The Neo-Tokyo Akira knocked off the Shin Seiki Evas, 4-3, in Sovereign League action at Neo-Tokyo Grounds. Neo-Tokyo pitcher and Leutkirch, Germany, native Edel Teischer had an outstanding performance. Neo-Tokyo currently is in last place in the Sovereign League Rising Sun at 54-77.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Charlie Watts in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Pedro Delgado to win it for Neo-Tokyo and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Watts said.
