Oilers Bats Go Cold Against Orcas
|
Anthony MacDonald, who is tied for 3rd in the HUM in complete games with 1, was terrific for the Victoria Orcas in his team's 3-0 triumph over the Long Beach Oilers. His performance earned MacDonald rave reviews. The Orcas raised their record to 14-26.
MacDonald, the Victoria right-hander, went 7.1 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. He collected 5 strikeouts.
"Anthony is one tough son of a gun," said Victoria manager Duane Higgins.
