Tom MacEwen brought his A-game to help Sherwood Park defeat the Quebec City Frenchies, 4-0. MacEwen got the win, improving to 1-2. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 5.2 innings. He allowed no runs. The 4th-place Hoods are 28-47.

The Hoods got a big hit from center fielder Francisco Delvillar. Facing Quebec City pitcher Seung-yeop Yu in the top of the sixth, Delvillar pounded a solo home run to center. His 5th home run of the season put the Hoods ahead, 2-0.
