Islanders Fall Short, 4-3, at Lodoss
The Lodoss Spell Swords topped the Laval Islanders, 4-3, in Pacific Alliance action at Forcelia Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Lodoss pitcher Sun Chon. The win makes Lodoss 28-40.

John Forrest had a big solo home run for the Spell Swords in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Lodoss leading 3-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Júlio Lozano and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Spell Swords on top, 4-1.

Forrest called the win a testament to his team's "grit."
