The Medicine Hat Drillers knocked off the Brampton Camels, 5-4, at Ballpark of Brampton. Miguel Méndez was a big reason Medicine Hat won. The left fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. Medicine Hat has now won 3 in a row.

Méndez had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 0-1 fastball from Beau Myers, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Drillers a 5-4 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Méndez.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Méndez said in reaction to the win.
