The Yuma Arroyos scored a tight, 3-2 win versus the Reno Zephyrs at Salt Lick Stadium. Yuma pitcher James McCoy held his own in the contest. At 21-32, Yuma is in 5th place in the Sovereign League Desert Hills.

Yuma took the lead, 3-2, on Kinnojo Yano's 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Reno pitcher Félix González in the bottom of the eighth.

"James has got a slow heartbeat," said Yuma manager Kiyohisa Takeda. "He doesn't panic or anything."
