Trendsetters Beat Harpoon, 3-1

New Frontier Park was the site of a tense game between the Hartford Harpoon and New Orleans Trendsetters.
New Orleans registered a win at New Frontier Park by beating the Hartford Harpoon, 3-1. Pitcher Alfredo Vargas was one reason why the Trendsetters triumphed. The Trendsetters now have a record of 57-70 with the win over Hartford.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Trendsetters had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the second, when left fielder Michel Bastide hit a 2-run single. The single came off Bartolo Baca and made the score 2-0, Trendsetters. Bastide went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Bastide.
