The Toyama Wind Dancers had to overcome a fine effort from Neo-Tokyo pitcher Jorge Salinas to win, 2-0, at Neo-Tokyo Grounds. Salinas went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Getting the save was Hideo Miura, his 34th. Toyama has a record of 81-46, placing them first in the Sovereign League Rising Sun.

In the top of the first, Ramiro Salinas ambushed a 2-2 changeup from Jorge Salinas and hit a solo home run. It gave Toyama a quick 1-0 lead.
