Morelos Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
Good production from center fielder Fernando León helped the Ecatepec Morelos topple the Naucalpan Cafe Tacvbas, 4-2. León went 3-4 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 for the Morelos. José Prieto, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 1.1 innings. Alfredo Ríos collected save number 1.
Juan Manuel drove in one run for Ecatepec. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, Manuel, who finished 4th in the ABSF-MEX AAA in hits with 115 in 2037, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Naucalpan hurler Héctor Rivera, he grounded out, driving in 1 run to give the Morelos a 3-2 lead.

The victory makes Ecatepec 8-15.
