Trendsetters Top Calzones of Laredo, 4-1, Behind Vargas

The New Orleans Trendsetters took on the San Antonio Calzones of Laredo at New Frontier Park.
The San Antonio Calzones of Laredo went down to defeat to Alfredo Vargas and his New Orleans teammates. The final score was 4-1, in favor of the Trendsetters. Robert Haines nailed down his 3rd save.
Vargas was in the zone all game. He frustrated San Antonio hitters while giving the Trendsetters 7 innings of quality work. Vargas threw 78 pitches, allowing no hits and getting 7 punchouts.
