The Jakarta HS Komodo Dragons got a sterling performance from pitcher Cahyono Ananas, but the Tennoji HS Sensei still prevailed, 4-3. Ananas threw 5.0 innings allowing 2 runs. Tennoji HS reliever Kenshin Wakabayashi was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Aderrig Kartini. The victory gives Tennoji HS a record of 15-6.

Naosuke Niiya came through with a big-time hit for Tennoji HS. The right fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

After the game, Tennoji HS manager Masaharu Hachirobei applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
