Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Hermits beat the Shogun.

Getting a good performance from third baseman Cong Lung, the Taitung HS Hermits defeated the Kochi HS Shogun, 14-1. Lung went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 4 and driving in 4 for the Hermits. With the win, Taitung HS upped its record to 10-7.

Taitung HS shortstop Kang Rao contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a changeup to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 17th hit of the season and put the Hermits ahead, 3-1.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Rao. "And not try to do too much."
