Flames Lose By a Run at Manila HS
|
Manila HS registered a win at Manila Field by beating the Ulsan HS Flames, 4-3. Pitcher Bayani Lacson was one reason why the Water Buffalo triumphed. Manila HS, with the win, is 5-13.
The Water Buffalo got a big at-bat from second baseman Jeorge-ValJhong Moga. For the game, Moga was 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 9th double of the season gave Manila HS a 4-3 lead.
"Main thing is I want the team to win," Lacson told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
