Osaka Toin HS took on Chiben HS in front of a lively crowd.

Getting offensive support from Tokimasa Morimoto, the Osaka Toin HS Eijisu Masters topped the Chiben HS Namami Samurai, 5-2. Morimoto was 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles. He scored 3 times for the Eijisu Masters. The win went to Mehdi Harambee in relief. His record improves to 4-0. Shimpei Honma took the loss. Sumio Kanno picked up the save, his 8th.

Osaka Toin HS took a 5-2 lead on Terry Sizemore's 7th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Sizemore hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Chiben HS pitcher Kensaku Endo visibly frustrated.

Morimoto told a Osaka Toin HS Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

The second-place Eijisu Masters lifted their record to 12-6.
