Mountaineers Collect 6-4 Win Over Scots
The Canberra HS Mountaineers picked up a win at Dunedin Ballpark, knocking off the Dunedin HS Scots, 6-4, in 12 innings. On the mound for Canberra HS was left-hander Nathan Burrows. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. The win puts Canberra HS at 7-6 this season.

Canberra HS needed the clutch hitting of Allan Hynes to seal the deal. The right fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Mountaineers on top, 5-3. For the game, Hynes had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"That's what these guys do," said Mountaineers manager Curtis Ash. "They battle, they fight."
