Behind a solid performance from shortstop Yoshikazu Iida, the University of Tokyo Imperials defeated the Keio University Unicorns, 5-1. Iida was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 for the Imperials. Toshiharu Yamamoto, the winning pitcher, is now 1-0.
