Joey Keys pitched a gem to lead Central Florida to victory over the Ohio State Scarlet Brutes, 2-0. The win went to Javier Guerrero in relief, making him now 2-1. Javier Baker took the loss for Ohio State. Earning his 14th save for Central Florida was Bill Ferguson.

Central Florida needed the clutch hitting of Jack Callahan to seal the deal. The right fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Wicked Witches on top, 2-0. For the game, Callahan had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"You can never predict what'll happen," Callahan said. "That's why you play the game."

The win puts Central Florida at 27-26 this season.
