Brown hits 2 home runs as Archers Squeeze Past UCLA
Kel Brown was instrumental in his team's 8-7 triumph over the UCLA Chili Peppers. The third baseman was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Iowa Archers. The win boosted Iowa to 30-22.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Archers grabbed the lead when Brown hit his 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Yoshihiro Kouno made it 8-7, Iowa.

"They beat us fair and square," UCLA skipper Kinji Hayakawa said.
