Led by Vicente Ortega, the Seton Hall Rampage downed the Purdue Astronauts, 5-2. Ortega was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Rampage. The Rampage are now 31-20.

Spencer Scott had a big solo home run for the Rampage in the top of the first inning. With Seton Hall leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a curveball from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Rivers and punished it. The result was his 14th home run of the season, which put the Rampage on top, 2-0.

In comments to the Seton Hall Daily, Scott admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
