Klondikes Win Nail-Biter
Klondikes fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

The UCONN Klondikes got a hard-earned win over the Oregon State Dambusters, 6-5, in 15 innings. Todd García provided some offensive muscle for UCONN. He went 2-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win went to Jerry Smith in relief, making him now 3-2. Josh Jackson took the loss for Oregon State.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 15th inning, when UCONN second baseman Rodger Ross, facing Tom King, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Klondikes the 6-5 win.

"I hope this win gives us a jumpstart," said Ross.

The Klondikes now own a record of 20-30.
