3-0 Loss Extends USC Losing Streak
|
Preston Townsend, who is tied for 4th in the USCBA COL in wins with 6, had a strong outing for the UCLA Chili Peppers against the USC Travelers at Chili Peppers Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-0 win. USC is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.
Logan Bousquet had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for UCLA. He came through with a run-scoring single to put UCLA in front, 2-0.
"We're not exactly playing great right now," said António Gómez, the USC manager.
