The Washington State Palouse Knights downed the Seton Hall Rampage, 4-0, at Rampage Stadium. Washington State pitcher Andy Ervin had a scintillating performance. Picking up the save was fireballing right-hander Brent Gilmore. The 7th-place Palouse Knights have won 4 straight.
Cipriano Sánchez had a direct impact on the outcome. Sánchez contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put Washington State up, 1-0.
