Astronauts Get Dramatic 6-5 Win
Brent Richardson impressed in the 6-5 Purdue win over Oregon State. Richardson, who is tied for 2nd in the USCBA COL in hits with 71, went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Joe McLaughlin picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Kent Barrett suffered the loss. Purdue goes to 23-24, Oregon State to 24-23.

In the bottom of the ninth, with the score tied, Richardson hammered a solo home run to win it for Purdue.

"This place was electric at the end," Richardson said.
