Martínez, Big Daddies Too Much for Axe
The Indiana Big Daddies beat the Stanford Axe at Big Daddies Ballpark. The final score was 7-2, in favor of Indiana. Alejandro Martínez led the way, going 3-for-4 for the home team. Indiana is now 28-18, while Stanford is 26-20.

Martínez contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Indiana in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-1, Martínez took a fastball from Dan Wallace and stroked the double to right-center. His 7th double of the season allowed the Big Daddies to leap in front, 4-2.

"It was a good win," said Indiana manager Parker Cochran. "Not without blemish, but good."
