Confederates Rally to Eke Out Win
Gil Lloyd propelled his team to victory over the Penn State Pride. The final score was 4-3, Southern Miss. Reliever Nate Gil picked up the win. His record improves to 3-3. Yoshitaka Yamamoto took the loss. Don Henderson recorded the save for Southern Miss, his 2nd of the season.

Southern Miss used a timely hit from Lúcio Cherino to get the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Confederates ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a difference-maker.

Lloyd said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.

With the victory, the Confederates record stands at 25-18.
