The Florida Farstriders picked up a win at Streets Casino and Holdings Park at Jacksonville, dropping the London Underground, 6-2, in 14 innings. Miguel Boroa, who is tied for 3rd in the IL in wins with 6, was the difference-maker. José Blanca earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. The Farstriders, at 36-12, have now won 4 straight.

The decisive blow was delivered by Tom Peters in the bottom of the 14th when he hit a grand slam home run off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Ikku Ohayashi to win the game for Florida. The home crowd went nuts.
