UAB Claims 6-5 Victory
The UAB Dragons defeated the Minnesota Lucky Rodents, 6-5, in United States Collegiate Baseball Association action at Lucky Rodents Ballpark. UAB pitcher Ralph Long had a standout performance. Earning his 6th save of the year was José Ybarra. UAB now owns a record of 14-27.

UAB used the clutch hitting of Juan Fonseca to snag the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Dragons ahead, 6-5. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"We put it together and came out with the win," Fonseca said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
